Reading Association of Ireland Children's Book Awards - 2011

The Award Jury shortlisted 10 books for the 2011 awards. At a ceremony in the Church of Ireland College, Rathmines, Dublin on September 29th, the author or illustrator of each short-listed book received an award. In addition, the four publishers of the short-listed books received an RAI Special Merit Award in recognition of their contribution to publishing children’s books in Ireland. The overall RAI Children’s Book Award was not made in 2011.
